Waiting game

I'm tired, sore, moody, etc.... ya that about sums it up. I'm really trying to keep a happy face, but I don't think that I'm fooling anyone anymore. I think that Hailey can sense that things are about to change big time because she's been extra moody and cranky for the past few days as well. Who knows, probably some of my hormones that she's picking up on. So far I've had lots of contractions on both Tuesday and Thursday, which both went into the night and stopped in the middle. I went to the dr yesterday and I'm only at a 2. Hmm... my body is just being very strange with this pregnancy and I'll be super glad once it's done. Things like bending over and sleeping on my back comfortably... you don't realize how much you enjoy those things until you can't do them anymore. So Hannah darling, we are very very very ready whenever you are. And by whenever you are I really mean the sooner the better, lol!

38 weeks and counting...

I would really like to be done with this pregnancy, um, NOW! I'm very uncomfortable, having lots of trouble sleeping, and tired of my feet swelling out of control. Here is a great example on our way home from church yesterday of how bad my feet get- and I wasn't even on my feet that much! I'm really hoping that Hannah decides to come this week sometime!!! Wish me luck!! On another note, it's a daily struggle for me to do Hailey's hair. I can actually get her to sit still without too much complaining while I put her hair into a pony tail or just pin it back with a clip, but it doesn't usually last too long. I'm not even close to ready to cut her hair, but her hair is quite long in front so I always have to clip it back. She is constantly pulling them out and usually throws them down any place that she wants to! Grrr... because I've lost so many of them already and had to keep buying more. This was a cute pic of her on our way home from church as well- I she insisted on pulling out her pony tail- ouch!- and gave herself a mohawk, lol!

Lilac Parade

I've always loved going downtown for the parade and luckily Tim doesn't mind going either. Hailey's getting a lot better at saying "cheese" and smiling for pictures, but her smile is quite silly looking right now, lol! We went this year with Tim's parents and of course Hailey pointed out each one of the 'neigh neighs' that came by.
Even Grandpa took his turn helping to occupy Hailey.

Silverwood

Last October we got free tickets to Silverwood in May when we went to Scarywood, but they could only be used in May. We were really lucky that the weather was great last weekend and we were able to use them and luckily we didn't have to pay for Hailey either. We didn't stay too long, but we were able to do a few rides. Hailey sure didn't show too much emotion on the carousel, but the minute we got off she threw an absolute fit! She's absolutely in love with her "neigh neighs" lately! Riding all by herself. Helping mommy finish off the ice cream cone.
Eating the sucker that Auntie Alicia bought her on the way home.

Happy 5th Anniversary to us!!!

Wow I cannot believe that 5 years has gone by already! Well at least tomorrow it has, but we're leaving for Canada early tomorrow morning for our niece's baptism so I thought I would do this now. We knew that we would be out of town for our actual anniversary so we celebrated last Friday by getting pedicures and then going to Black Angus! Yes, Tim absolutely loved his pedicure and getting his feet rubbed and it was his first time ever going! No, he didn't get his toes painted like I did, but I was really glad that my suggestion worked out well. Now let me tell you what- our dinner was FABULOUS!!! We used one of those coupons where a couple eats out for $37 and we got tons of wonderful food. It came with any appetizer, complete entrees, and a dessert. We were there for 2 hours and had such a relaxing time together. My mom was nice enough to watch Hailey for us and I forgot how enjoyable dinner can be without her throwing her fits every time we eat out. Anyways, that was the best money I've spent on dinner in a long time and I won't hesitate to go back- soon!! Well honey, here's to another 5 years and many many more past that. I can't believe all that we've been through and how we've grown together as a couple and family. Life sure has changed for us in amazing ways and it's only made us stronger. I love you so much!!! I was just reminiscing a little and these are pics from our wedding day- it's amazing how young we look! I suppose we would though- I was only 19 just about to turn 20 and Tim was 22 about to turn 23. Yikes, that means that my birthday, the big 2-5 is just around the corner!
