Randoms

The girls- mainly Hailey- went through about a week or so where they found a bunch of hair clips and would randomly stick them in their hair... or mine.
Goodness she's just too sweet
Tim had just gotten home from a long day tiling.. and was soaked
For some reason I think that it's hilarious when kids fall asleep eating... and this was Hannah's first time lol

Holiday pics

Ugh looking back I realized that I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked to... but there are at least a few
Hannah goofing around as we're getting the decorations out... I realized this was the only one of us decorating... sad
Blankets that I made the girls this year. Both had princesses on 1 side and then Hailey had a cute purple flower pattern and Hannah's was the blue patterned one. It was definitely a learning experience for me. The blankets were huge- 2 yd doubled sided each- but luckily no sewing involved because I am seriously challenged there. Each blanket took me about 4 hrs.
We made a bunch of cookies to take to people and the girls helped me decorate the sugar cookies. They had a blast doing it!

Potty training... again

And off we are again...this time with Hannah. Honestly I feel way less stressed out with her than I did with Hailey. I know more what to expect and I've definitely done better with my temper this time around. It's kind of funny because with your first kid you really try to push potty training early... and with Hannah I've realized tgat isn't the right way for me to be doing things. I decided to wait until I really felt like she was ready and asking. Plus having Natalie made things easier to decide when because I knew I needed to wait until she was a little older.
So I'm not going to lie... potty training Hannah has gone quite well so far. She got a little over excited the first morning when she realized that she would get skittles when she went in her potty so she was going in there every 5 min... and it was exhausting!
But overall I'm very impressed with myself this time around. I can look back and see where i messed up with Hailey. I can also honestly say that I was overall way too hard on Hailey. It's very hard for me to even admit that but in my heart I know it's true. Motherhood has truly changed me. Characteristics like patience, selflessness, and true understanding were things that unfortunately I had to wait until adulthood to even start to comprehend. But I suppose better late than never.
Now we're on day #4 and Hannah is acting like she's been potty trained for months... seriously I did not expect this out of her. She loved to be the "baby" but clearly she was just putting on a show for us because she's quite the big girl! Our only problem... she's not going poo lol... she had 2 poo accidents on day #2, but hasn't had a potty accident since day #1 and has even kept dry at night- we get her up once about 1130 or so to go! So here's getting over her fear of the poo monster lol!!!

I'm back

Hello all... yes we're still alive... and no I'm not pregnant again like I was the last time I had a big break in the blogging world. We had a great exhausting fun-filled holiday season that seems to fly by faster and faster each year somehow. I wish there was a way to stop that from happening. I do have pic from Christmas and hopefully I can get around to loading up some pics soon. I've been in what I call "mommy mode" barely surviving some days and other days are fabulous lol... and only getting ready when I leave the house or I know someone will see me lol. Everyone got colds and arefinally over it. I have made 1 real resolution this year and that is to finish the Personal Progress program at church and I've already been doing quite well with it. Plus it will help to set a good example to the YW.

Hailey has decided to grow her bangs out. Joy for me right... they are almost to the length where I need to clip them back every day now. Other than that she is great. She's not a Sunbeam anymore which is a little sad. She's getting so big

Hannah is following right in the footsteps of Hailey. She just wants to be such a big girl and is learning all sorts of new things. Soon- in a few weeks when I can guarantee a few days home with her- we'll be starting potty training with Hannah. I keep talking to her about it and she's excited for Tinkerbell panties.

Finally why I really wanted to post about... my lil bubs =) She really is a wonderful addition to our lil fam and she's now 5 mo old... crazy right??!! She seriously fits right in with us. Filled with tons of spunk and spirit she's quite the noisy one when she wants to be. We sure love her tons. She's already been given a cute nickname for a lil girlie.. and it came from the girls. Can't remember if it was Hailey or Hannah but they started calling her Nata-wee-wee... so we shortened it to wee-wee. So everyone here's our "Wee-Wee"!!!

Oh I'm so in love with her. I feel like I'm able to enjoy her more because the girls can play with each other more now. She officially rolled over the hard way- back to front- on Christmas Eve in front of lots of family and has been a rolling fool ever since. She's a drooling maniac and soaks through her clothes and bibs on a daily basis. She absolutely hates having a poopie bum and hates having wet clothes too. She's a super friendly babes with an uber-contagious smile. As of right now she still has blue eyes like her mama...  I'm really hoping that she'll keep them, but who knows at this point because both the older girls had blue eyes as babes too that turned to gray and now the gray/green that they are now.
